A new wardrobe of clothes means so much more than just the item of clothing.
As a society we recognise that people need food and shelter. We often don’t realise that people also need basic clothing. Many Australians don’t have access to a warm winter jumper, comfortable, waterproof shoes or even a clean pair of underwear.
By collaborating with some of Australia’s largest clothing suppliers and social service agencies, Thread Together changes not just the future of the clothes but also the futures of people in crisis.
We are currently supporting the people who are homeless, youth at risk, Indigenous communities, people escaping domestic violence, people in crisis, refugees or long term unemployed.
With $50 we can provide 10 people who need our help with a complete new wardrobe.
Your donation will directly assist the vast numbers of people we help every week.
