A message to our community

As the COVID-19 outbreak continues to affect families, communities and countries around the world, Thread Together continues to monitor how best to support the health, safety and well being of our friends, volunteers, supporters and staff.
Thread Together is doing everything we can to continue providing our service, for as long as we can, for individuals, families and communities in need, while respecting the health and safety guidance on COVID-19.
We remain fully committed to supporting people in need.
Although, we have had to make the difficult decision to close our ‘community fashion hubs’, restrict the number of staff allowed in our fulfilment centre and postpone all of our corporate volunteering programs, all of our partners are still able to continue to use our online wardrobe to order new clothes for individuals, families and communities in need.
We are in this together and now more than ever, we need to support those that need our help and are onboarding new charities and social service agencies to support – click here to become an approved partner.
If you have been following us over the last few years, you will know that something like this will not stop us from delivering our mission to clothe those in need. We continue to be incredibly grateful for your support, as we work hard to deliver our mission and support our friends during their time of need.
Finally, our thoughts are with those who are suffering and we wish to acknowledge all those that are working tirelessly to slow the spread of the virus and those that are putting themselves in harms way to care for those affected.

FAQs

Can I donate new clothes to Thread Together?

Yes, we are still receiving new clothing donations – click here to become a fashion donor.

Can I volunteer at Thread Together?

Unfortunately, we have had to postpone our corporate volunteering programs.  There are limited number of community volunteering opportunities and we are currently reviewing our volunteer shifts, and will be in touch with all existing volunteers regarding current and future schedule shifts. If you are interested in volunteering, you can register your interest here. However please note, you may not receive a response immediately due to a large backlog of volunteer queries. We appreciate your patience during this time.

How is Thread Together distributing clothing?

All of our partners are able to use our online wardrobe to order new clothes for individuals, families and communities in need.  Our team is working hard, whilst maintaining social distancing  practices to fulfil orders and get clothes to those in need via freight and logistic partner, Toll.

How can I help?

Thread Together is reliant on the generosity of people like you. If you are able to donate, please visit our donation page  – For $5 we are able to provide a brand new wardrobe to someone who needs it.
